Juergen Teller (b.1964) is a German born artist and fine-art and fashion photographer. Having worked with photography both commercial and art contexts since the 1980s, Teller is considered one of the most important photographers of his generation.

The second edition that Teller has produced exclusively for The Institute of Contemporary Arts, the photo was taken on a trip he made to Kolkata, India, in early 2014. According to Teller Wildschweinmutter, Kolkata, India 2014, plays with what he calls the ‘drama of lives being lived with no sense of privacy.’
