To coincide with Petry’s one-man exhibition In League with Devils at the Dadian (Gallery Henry Luce III Center for the Arts & Religion, Washington, DC) a new hardback of the same name will be published on July 1, 2023 (ISBN: 978-1-912800-09-4) which explores at Petry’s work for the exhibition as well as projects from 2012 - 2023. The book includes a forward by Stephen Fry (actor/author) with essays by the Director of the Dadian, Dr Aaron Rosen, and independent curators Dr Daniell Cornell and Rick Herron. The books also features text by Petry about the various works included as well as his own documentary images of the pieces.
The full colour book (172 pages) is richly illustrated (149 images) by installation views of his many museum and gallery projects (Pallant House, The Holburne Museum, Palm Springs Art Museum) as well as details of individual works for private collectors and international shows (The Venice Biennalle, Alentejo Trienal, Joshua Treenial).
The book also includes an image of Petry’s first NFT of a new online virtual reality mirror exhibited at VOMA (the Virtual Art Museum) in conjunction with the Dadian show.
